I have recently installed a whole house filter consisting of 3 stages, SED, GAC, and KDF. I still use my RODI system to mix my salt water but our tap water runs through this larger house filter first now.

Is the KDF a concern for my reef if I run the water through RODI after?

An ro/di will make any drinkable water fine for a reef tank as long as you maintain the di so you have 0 ppm tds water. :)

Thanks for the reply. So no concerns about this filter adding anything to the water that wouldn’t be filtered out by RODI? I don’t think I’ve ever gotten 0 ppm. TDS currently measuring about 2 ppm on pretty recently replaced cartridges.
