Keep your corals frags locked down tight, folks!

Unfortunately 2 frags of acans were squished at some point yesterday. They apparently have had tissue damage and have receded completely with no signs of making it.
Lesson learned, lock down all frags if not on a frag rack! After years in this hobby one would think to do this... :(

Given the title, given the post content... the acans had a frag of hydnophora fall on them from upon high. It wasn't glued or puttied to the rock it sits on. They went splat.

Now it makes sense. Something fell on them. I just couldn't understand how two acans could be squished without them falling on something or something falling on them.

It happens. I'd much prefer something small like this happen versus them being eaten by pests, fish, or whatever else as is usually the case.

I think in my instance it was an urchin. Were your corals glued down when crab did this?
