Keeping many fish in a bucket

Still related to my tank conversion, I'm would like to pull all my fish out tonight and put them in a bucket so that I can drop them off at the lfs tomorrow afternoon and move forward. My question is, with all those fish in one bucket, should I throw in an airstone to keep them oxygenated and maybe skim some particles, or should I just leave them alone with a black cloth on top of the bucket? Thanks

Sorry man I don't want to be negative but 12 hours in a bucket will kill a bunch of fish

It's fine. I would rather them be alive and I pushed off schedule then they die
