Hey everyone!
I bought a big kenya tree from someone on marketplace but I had to lop it off at the base on-site because it was attached to a massive rock. I followed a YouTube vid, used a sharp razor blade, and made a clean slice at the base. Now it’s day 2 and it’s still shriveled up… worried I may have killed it. Does it just take some extra time for corals recently fragged to rebound and look happy again? I also glued it to a frag plug so perhaps that also annoyed it because i glued it while it was shriveled up but now the base is bigger than the frag plug so it’s like restricting it?? I feel like that shouldn’t really matter but I don’t know. It was a first for me!

you can see it right above the big frogspawn

Kenya trees are almost unkillable, just give it some time. It’ll bounce back without any problems

I got one on Sunday and it got fragged while I was there and it is still shrivelled a bit and came of frag plug so same hear and my Zoa is still not opening but if you have some coral food put it in because that helped my toadstool recover and it was all sliced up from rock and squished on it’s side and now it’s perfectly fine
