I see some weak polyps growing and the coral is avoiding that.

Remove that if possible. Kenya is a tough coral.

Should I cut him at the base and reattach or?
Getting these things to attach to a plug is a challenbe, IME because they don't like glue all that much. If they are carefully wedged in a rock they often attach and grow in place very nicely.

I have been trying to rid them from my tank, (they exploded) and I wish mine would die from the base up like this one. They are attached inside of rock nooks and I have been struggling to get rid of them.

LOL totally understand....this is my first and have avoided them up until now so dont really know a lot about them....I did read somewhere that you can just cut them at the base with a razor blade then reposition them but like you said better in a rcok crevice than to a plug....thanks for your reply

Its takes a long long time fix you cut and it doesn’t always work out, so no reattach….

I’d just try to clean that up a bit a see. You don’t need to do anything if the tree is happy.

Or

You Can lightly scrape that small area clean.

Seems I see maybe a polyp or two, maybe a sponge, hard to see exactly but It don’t need to be there and we don’t what it to spread.
