Kenya Tree

On impulse I bought a Kenya Tree at LFS. Just the beige variety. I don't want to take a chance of it taking over my main tank as I have had other sofies do in the past. Think safe to put in a separate tank that is plumbed into the system? Would be a bit of a journey to make it to main tank but shared water.

I’d think it would be fine, if it ever shows signs of illness or release of toxins just run some carbon.
