A lot depends on the types of corals in your tanks (their lighting needs).

I have the 360xe over a 11 gallon tank (mix reef consisting of zoas, a few LPS, a few SPS). My total photo period is from 1100-2000. With a max intensity of 10 via the wifi dongle. For me it's figuring out the balance between the coral getting their light. How much algae does this photo-period produce, and the ability of my CuC/copepods to keep the algae in check while still getting fed.

I also had the A80 previous to the 360. The 360 is WAY more intense than the A80. I also use the beam focusing attachment that Kessil makes.

I’ve looked at one where the blue starts up and intensifies into the whiter and daylight showing 75 %at top for a couple hours and goes back down eventually to blue like dusk. Which I thinks would put a lot of it at 420nm . Total full light about 7 hrs but bluer for a lil at front n back. Just wandered just how much intensity is in it also .

The intensity is based on what corals you're keeping? I just use their quick set or tuna blue program and modify to my needs. I've always used a 12hr cycle with 2hr ramp up/down, but you can extend the ramp to suit your needs. I also match the violet channel to intensity (so I tie those two together when I program). The color is based on your preference, Kessil logic will always give the corals what they need as far as spectrum is concerned. If you want to add in red and green, just use 5% during peak hours (if you want). For the blue (pop) look, stay under 20% color and more natural daylight, you want to be above 35%.
