Hi

I have a 15 gallon Nuvo 15, LPS only tank,
I’m currently using a kessil a360x (I know it’s a bit of overkill but that’s what I had laying around)

It’s 5” from the water, what would u say would be the best settings and intensity

Anyone here with this type of setup?

Thanks

At 5" does that cover the whole tank? I would think 8-10" would give better spread and I would say maybe 40% intensity. The good thing about kessil is you can make it look how you want and it will still give a good spectrum to grow corals, so it depends on the look you like.

Yes it does spread nicely at 5”

Ok I’m running it now at 25 percent
I will try to increase slowly

How long has the coral been in the tank at that intensity? They look from what I can see happy. If you do start to bump it up go real slow. Its been a while since I had a 360 and it was the older one. I think I had around 100 par at the sand bed at around 50% in a 16" deep tank.

Got it, yea everything looks happy besides the Goni which could be related to something else

Thank u so much!

Do you happen to know if the 360xe is similar. I have one on my Nuvo 15 as well, first reef tank so not exactly sure on settings. So far I have a mushroom and a paly/zoa that I got today
