I am definitely seeing better colors on my green and purple sps corals. Have a wwc blueberry fields that is trying to branch out. It is definitely a good light and I'm glad I also got the seneye to help me understand the intensity a little as it pertains to my tank a little better. I basically have the lights 9 inches above the water.

Using a PAR meter is really important with LEDs, it's just part of it. My system didn't start to really take off until I got myself the PMK. I'm now in the Goldilocks zone all over my tank and you won't find a SPS or LPS that isn't happy. That makes me happy.

Currently:
Kessils peak at 50% 8 hours
2 T5s on for 10.

Before getting the PMK I was at 75% with the T5s. Didn't hurt anything but I can clearly see that the corals were not as healthy as they could be. They are now.

Well I took a lot of readings.

This is 10" down, light is 8.5" up
PMK is centered just about directly under the light give or take 2".

Note the averages

Saltyfilmfolks: maybe Kessil won't tell you what their spectrum is, but BRS tested all the common leds when they did their weekly videos as they set up their 160 display tank. If your interested they show the complete spectrum for the Kessil ap700. Kessil must be doing something right because there are a lot of beautiful tanks using their lights.

Thanks much for par and intensity, currently running 38% with 2 24" T5's mosly nems, lps and few stonies thinking over 40 not needed. Peak led & t5 for 5 hrs, 30% led for another 2, lights ramp for 3 hrs dusk & dawn. Guessing 100 sand 250 top of reef, unit is 10" off water

I'm very late to the party, but I just recently got an AP700 and absolutely love it! Connecting it to my router for WIFI was extremely easy, and control and programming were simple enough to figure out. I highly recommend it.

Be careful not to fry anyone not acclimated to your new light canons.

I previously had two A360's running at about 70% intensity, I have the AP700 max out at about 60% intensity. Should I be ok or turn it down?

I’ve never had 360s but from what I’ve read, you should be around 50% of where your 360 was. You may want to email Kessil and ask them.

How long before they responded? I have a dead AP700 and haven't heard from them at all. The last time I had an issue, it took them 2 weeks before the light was replaced.
I heard back same day! I started the ticket on a Friday and my unit was delivered to Los Angeles by Wednesday.
