I recently moved my apex to a cabinet on the side of the aquarium. The kessil controller cable wasn't long enough so I got a 6ft 3.5mm stereo extender cable. I run dusk/dawn setting via apex. The light comes on but can't reach full intensity. The blues look off also. Am I getting a power drop from the cable being too long(12 ft)? Thanks for any input!

PS It's the belkin 6ft extender from microcenter.

I used 25 feet extension cable before and it was OK up to 95% brightness....Belkin does make good cables......it would be easier to blame the cable if you have the kessil controller....

I'm just going to order the official kessil extension cable. Not worth the headache trying to find one that works correctly.
