I have a kessil h80 tuna flora that’s I’m currently using for my fuge. I will be moving out of state soon and plan on keeping my zoanthids in a small AIO tank. I’d prefer not to buy another light. The kessil does have a blue spectrum. Think it’s possible to keep my zoas with this light or will I have to do something else? I will also have one fish too.

I think the zoas will probably be fine, but it will promote algae growth and not be great to look at. I would maybe buy a cheap Nicrew or aquaknight. Personally, I don’t see the point in keeping a tank if it’s not nice to look at. edit: a PAR 38 bulb and a cheap fixture would be less than $50.

Is that 18 watts? How tall is the tank?

I can grow a lot with my three A80s in this 20-gallon AIO… but again, for adequate spread there are three (3) of them. Hope that helps. ;)

His is the a80 flora though. Not sure it has the correct spectrum for coral

I think it is the “Tuna Blue” model. Whatever THAT means. Lol.

It’s 15watt. Yes it’s the H80 so really meant for algae. It has a blue spectrum which to me looks almost like a 12-14k. Very dim thought. It’s really meant to just keep my zoas alive until I get my bigger tank setup. The tank is like 12”x8”x9”. Just a holding tank.

Here it is fill power on the “blue spectrum “ over my 18” deep tank, maybe 2” off water. Don’t have a par meter
