Kessil H80

Hello all. I'm trying to start my refugium with a Kessil H80. I've never been able to grow chaeto with this light. It did well with calupra (spelling?). I did buy a mixed pack from Algae Barn. The chaeto and other green varieties died off except the lettuce fronds. The red varieties are hanging on. I've set the lamp at grow what the heck 1/3 intensity for 8 hr. Has anyone had luck with the other lamp settings- blue, bloom, red? Thanks!

Sounds like one type is outcompeting the others.
