What do you have in the tank? At full intensity that light will bake anything that is a low light coral. I would only do 100% if you have nothing but SPS. oh and welcome to R2R!!!! :D

I use them at Full Intensity in a 12" Deep Tank which is 4 Inches Taller than Mine.

I have had no problems.

I actually think I need more light.

Low light corals are going to be cooked with that much light, medium and high light corals will do ok but things like acans are going to lose a lot of color and probably not grow all that well. This has been my experience and what I have heard talking with other people.

I have Acans and Corals that are much lower light than Acans.

Everything is fine.

I hope you are not confusing the A160's with the A360's as there is a Huge Difference.

Nope, I have the A160 and I have seen how bright it can get. With the tank only being 18" deep and assuming she/he is hanging the light 12" above the tank, it is my opinion that running at 100% would not be conducive to keeping low light corals healthy and colorful in their tank. Its just my opinion based on my experience with a wider range of low light corals.

My Tank is only 12" Deep and the A160 is on a Goosneck so not that High Up.

If you are concerned you can put the lower light corals on the right or left sides of the tank on the bottom.

I have no problems and have this light at full blast with many different types of corals includding many low light corals too.

It is all about placement.

If thats what works for you, I am just giving him/her a heads up that at 100% power there is a good chance of negative outcomes for low light corals. thats all.
