I also got a war coral from jay :D

I glued mine to a peanut butter jar lid, then glued the lid to the back of my tank.

Tank looking good :thumb:

That's going to look awesome

Ok I got my hanger for the led light made

Buying a evolution 100 led setup. It says up to a 24" tank and mine is 30. I'm hoping if I raise it up some it will work. I am hoping it is a lot better than the dual pcs I'm using now. Paying $175 for the used unit

I used to be an electrician do I got some 1/2" emt metal conduit and, used my bender to make it. And joined them in the front with a coupling and then painted them. Then I screwed 3 2x4s together so it would clear my hob filter and attached the conduit using 2 hole metal conduit straps. Then I screwed the boards from the front side under my stand cause I can't move the stand. I painted it all black and, drilled holes for 4 eye bolts but I misjudged them so I am using two large s hooks on the front bar and the back eye bolts. Right now I'm using 7lb yellow cord until I can get some cables

And there is extra conduit sticking out the bottom of the straps so, all I have to do is unscrew the boards and I can pull it out and adjust the height

Ok so everything seems to be doing great. I love the new lighting even though its turned down. I'm going to try to make a canopy with a open back so it can just be slipped on and off without hitting the light.

All my coral are doing great except a three headed nuclear green paly I bought has yet to open. I tried focus feeding with reef chilli this, evening I will see if that helps

I found a worm last night

It has 3 or 4 short tentacles on its head have no clue what it is
Also found a small egg shaped flat critter on a rock too. Hard to see but its under the hole on the right and it crawled back into the hole slowly.

Does anyone know if these will keep growing or do I need to put them on a rock to spread to. This is probably a stupid question but I don't know much about these corals guess I could google them

Lol thanks. I don't like the idea of hacking coral up. I see done people frag pieces I would even sell if someone wanted them and is asking top dollar like they are huge pieces its kinda sad. I look at it like this I get really good, deals on everything so why do that. I've got a little over $1400 in my tank and if I would have paid retail it would have been a whole lot more. The most expensive thing I have bought was the leds. I only paid $150 for my tank, sand, most rock, cir pump and some other stuff.
