Hey guys, I'm struggling with KH. I have a new 220l system with 2x clowns and 2x cardinals, 1 anemone, small GSP frag, one ricordea, 2x hermits. My LFS pointed out that my KH was too low and suggested Fauna Marin Elementals KH solution. I've been dosing it for a while but can't seem to get my KH up. Any ideas or suggestions? My log is attached.

Your KH is not too low. I target 7.8 DKH. With that low of a bio load there should not be much of a demand so I would stop dosing for now and only worry if your DKH drops below 7.6. Also might want to try a different LFS.

Looks Good to me my acro tank runs around 8 dkH and drops into the mid 7s when consumption increases due to growth.

EDIT: I would see what your consumption rate is before thinking about dosing so you know how much to add daily. I have a hunch with your stock list it will be very low and WCs may be enough to keep alk at an acceptable level. I would decide where you want to run it and choose a salt that mixes close to that and see how it goes with just WCs unless you are not doing them. Many tanks run without having to dose. Ussually dosing is only needed when stoney coral like LPS amd SPS are in the tank and growing. Keep it simple if possible and there's less to do and less chance of making a mistake.
