Killer in my tank

Hello everyone so i have a pretty new saltwater tank and i just acclimated my new fish and a coral banded shrimp and the very next day i see the shrimp holding the corpse of one of my firefish goby, atm all i have is the goby,1 pink spotted blenny, and 2 clownfish, my parameters are exactly where there supposed to be please help😭

In what order did you add the fish, and how big is the tank? Clownfish can be very aggressive. Sorry this happened!

I drip acclimated them all at once, in different containers of course but afterwards i added the shrimp, firefish gobies, then the blenny, i apologize if i messed up in the processs of which to add fist in any way im still new😭😭 its a 60 gallon

Yeah, sorry, you’d probably want to wait and add those fish over the course of a month-ish, with the clowns going in last. At least you’ve learned!

Parameters aren't really what the issue is here anyway.

Adding things over time might have helped, but also feeding... If you're a once a day feeder you're asking for trouble.... hungry critters will always be opportunistic. I feed 3x a day.

Also, when adding a new fish, you can always change some of the aquascape and it’ll keep the more territorial fish from being so aggressive and focus on re-acclimating to the change.
