Has anyone been able to install one of these on a Skimz sump? I thought for sure it would fit so I bought one but the opening to my filter sock area is too small. It doesn’t even fit into the 4” diameter hole for where the sock actually sits.. [emoji17][emoji17]

Anyone have any ideas on how I could make it work? I mean I could use a dremel and open the sock hole bigger but what if I don’t wind up liking the filter? Then I can’t use the socks anymore bc the holes are too big lol

If the part were the filter sock sits comes out you can make a new one with the right size hole. But if it doesn't than there is not much you can do besides cutting it.

I think I have a plan.. but quick question.. my sump has a Hi and Lo filter sock, about 1.5” in height difference. I’d want to block off the hi sock area with the Blocking cap and install the filter into the lower on correct?
