I don't have any mosquito issues (I'm in South Eastern PA, so pretty close to DC) I have lots of Koi and even more smaller fish that I'm sure make quick work of any larvae.

that's awesome to hear about no issues with mosquito populations growing or hanging around the water. I guess the bigger issue is with stagnant water not moving water. I guess ponds I have always seen seem to be rather stagnant rather than the flow you are talking about. thanks a lot for the input.

My koi pond I put in after house was built. Unfortunately someone put something in pond and killed my 5 year old koi a few years back.
These photos are our current fish (s0me about 10"+) some a few years old now and getting larger(not great pics but something). Always wanted a Mr Miyagi backyard with koi pond. Of course mine would not be on large scale :) and still only a dream

Estimate this is about 800gal

Bump. This is spectacular, Im looking to do a small koi pond 100-150g off my deck and looking for a good source for pre cast tubs/liners

This was easily one of the nicest ponds I have seen. I would stay away from the “precast” ponds (tubs) and go with a nice liner pond. May be a little more expensive up front but at the end of the day it will hold up better and most importantly look better.

I left pond building 2 years ago due to a better opportunity. However I still help my old boss out from time to time. Just did this in his yard. Still needs some final touches though.
