Today I just introduced a Flame Angel into my tank. All research and experience (few years) says the Angel would fit in perfectly with the rest of my livestock. It has been in for about 1 hour or so and Yellow Eyed Kole Tang has been chancing Angel. Is this normal or a fluke? Thank you in advance.

Tangs are jerks and each fish has its own unique personality. Keep an eye on it but it should settle down eventually. There is no black and white text book result

That’s what I’m hoping for. Thank you.

rearrange the rock work. Then they will both be in new territory.

It's true that once tangs establish their territory any additions to the tank become a target. They especially go for fish that eat algae in their diets.

Moved a Little Rock around. Mainly in the Tangs “area”. Seems to be working.
