This is the kreisel I had built for raising H. reidi fry. Show some of y'all's "kreisel-type" tanks.

How much does a tank like this cost? I've thought about making my own but I wouldn't be able to make it that pretty.

I honestly wouldn't know. I drew up the plans and my acrylic guy just charged me for the materials he had to buy (the cylinder). He had never built one before and at the time custom acrylics really wasn't a "thing". This is about 15 years old now.

I need an acrylic guy. Great little setup.

Thanks. It was great fun at the time. I thought by now there would be some similar home models available in the hobby.

I need to put some little critters in there and show how it works. I was tired of using fish bowls and such, but didn't know if it would work or not.... by gosh it did. It keeps both the food and the seahorses rotating in the center.

There are some jellyfish tanks on the market, with Jellyfish Art being one that comes to mind. Kriesel tanks had a strong presence at MACNA 2015, and I seem to recall quite a few at RAPNY this summer, even though I only had about 30 minutes there. I bet we'll see some MACNA 2016 pics with jellies, too.

I have an orbit cubic 20 with the external connections hooked up to an eheim canister with biomedia only. Pretty similar.

I didn't build it. I drew out the design and brought it to an acrylics guy.

It's like a white thick plastic with holes. It's not pliable at all.
