Just a progress thread. So far I am happy with growth.

Anyone else has experience with this monti? Fast or slow grower? What does it like lighting and flow wise? So far it is sitting on a frag rack 5 inches from water line and more or less 10 inches away from a mp10.

I know this is a kung pow thread but I have the phoenix sun and beach bum monti. They were under radion gen 2 lights and did nothing for the longest time. They did get a darkish color with next to no growth. I moved them to my other tank under kessil 360's and Im seeing growth and color for the first time in a short period of time. I'll be curious to see them over the next few months

Those are nice too! Planning to get the phoenix next. Mine is under a non hd hydras with T5s. I could grow monti plates such as Idaho Grapes like weeds that is why I am curious how well it will do with these types of montis.

I had that monti in the past. Grew so much so fast I couldn’t even give it away
