I'm sure a few people here have tried this product. I just ordered a 100ml bottle, currently only dosing 2 part never dosed aminos before. Was hoping to speed up growth a little maybe make my LPS pop a little more.

Curious if you noticed much difference after using?
Any algae issues?

It will depend on your tank.
Are you ULNS?
What is your po4 and no3?
Amino acids is not for every tank condition.

My goal is to keep the nutrients down as low as possible. I'm aware aminos raise Po4 and No3 so I'll keep an eye on them. More than likely dose every other day instead of the recommended daily

Aminos will likely work in nutrient poor tanks. After all they're building blocks of protein, so if your corals are starved for food your feeding them. Now their is interesting lit showing corals were designed to recognize the presence of some aminos chemically thus responding with feeder tentacles. However, if your coral is already getting adequate nutrition there is no reason to assume you could obtain more or faster growth.

There are multiple reports from reefers claiming aminos have made a significant change in their corals after dosage. Some people use the amino to make PE than target feed directly after. Just like acropower, no one really knows the full contents of the bottle they just know it works.

Only have a few sps, lps dominant tank so I don't dose potassium or iron. There's not much I can really dose to bring out colors and growth in my coral besides target feed and keep parameters in check. So I figured I'd give aminos a shot and see what happens

Yes there many that claim aminos work including icons like Sprung. I feed heavy and often and saw no difference. That doesn't mean they don't work just depends on the individual tank.

So if you saw no difference after dosing aminos then why are you using Acropower?

Thanks I do too

I have tried the two stated above. I have actually tried acropower two separate times without success. When J. Sprung endorses a product a really want to believe. However, it did not work for me. I am not currently using.

I don't run a low nutrient system and noticed a significant increase in my LPS extension and growth. I've been using it for @8~9 mths. now and I, and my corals, love it.

What's your numbers Salty?
Sal. - 1.025
Temp. - 79
Ph - 8.0
Ca - 450
Kh - 7.9
Mg - 1500
No3 - .25
Po4 - .05
I use Acropower 1x week, KZ LPS Amino 3ml daily, KZ Trace Complex 2ml daily, KZ Major Elements 2ml daily, KZ Pohls Extra 3ml 3x weekly, KZ Coral Vitalizer 3-4x weekly, KZ Iron 1x weekly.
I sometimes move things around according to how my tank is doing. I skim heavy and use a Skimz BR83 for BPs. I do WCs @ 2x month depending on how things are going. Trying to recover from a Ph problem I had. I use BRS's 2-part via a dosser. Over all very happy with KZ products, I always by it on sale like BRS is running right now, 25% off.

I'm still getting the grasp of dosing outside of 2 part. Was always under the impression that water changes and 2 part dosing was sufficient. My tank is dominat lps with a few sps. In you opinion would I benefit dosing any of the other KZ products?

That's the million dollar question. It depends on what you have and what you want gain for your livestock. I use it to get more growth and color from my corals. Water changes should provide most of what your tank needs, I just like to take it a step further with the supplements. With them I have noticed enough changes to warrant continuing them.
