My official build thread. This thread isn't time accurate as it's been up for a while.

Tank is a 72x18x22 aqueon

Fired up refugium. $20ish grow light from Lowe's. 500 par center on bottom. Trigger sump

Made BRS diy screen. Used a hack saw. Definitely use something else to cut it to make it look better.

Two hydras 26 on ends with 32 in middle. Two mp40s on each end with m2 return

Added sca 302 skimmer about a week or so ago

Hydra arms sit in water so I diy some zip lock bags on ends with a zip tie around them to prevent aluminum leaching.

I went with a return in both megaflow. Left has emerg drain. Right has full siphon.

In retrospect, I would have plumbed differently but kept the herbie.

See my thread when I accidently plugged in a heater with no temp controller into my surge protector and tank got to 92 degrees. Make sure you double check stuff and make sure apex alarm is actually on.

I changed to a temp controlled 600w finnex plugged into a BRS inkbird

My light. Left side of tank is sps with zoas and bubble at bottom. Mid left is torch city with sps on top. Right is mushroom, ducan, and zoas.
