Who is in charge of your tank? I'm in charge of our tanks, I'm the Mrs. and I call the shots. I mean, granted, I'm the one who works for the company lol. Who is in charge of your tanks?

Mr. Me, I have experience and unfortunately I’m the “Mr. No” unless it’s “what I want.” Knowledge is a burden to bear in this household lol.

Both my wife and I co-op on our tanks! She cared more about the pico tank, while I cared more about the nano tank

The Mrs. handles the cats and the Pug. I handle the reef tank with the occasional (usually counter-productive) help from my boys.

It’s me, the Mrs. of the house that does almost everything. The husband enjoys it, but has no interest in the daily workings or maintenance.

Me, the Mrs. It's my hobby and I also take care of the cat and dog. The Mr. funds everything for me but only gets the fun parts like taking pictures or snuggling the fur based pets.

Me. Its my choice so my responsibility. My Gal is good at looking at the tanks and noticing things like a coral out of place or a fish that isn't acting right etc. That in itself is a great help but other than that it's all me.

I (male) take care of everything about the tank.
My wife will feign interest occasionally but won't get off her lazy bottom to do anything for the tank.
*that was meant to be a joke but, yeah, I do everything,,, and please don't tell her I said that

Mrs., it's my tank and I do whatever I want with it. Except for getting new tanks... that's where Mr. steps in and says no, or at least tries to... 😆
Same lol. I actually have a brand new 28g nano cube I haven’t set up yet and my husband suggested we sell it. I said are you crazy?! I just havent decided what I want in it yet 🤣🤣

Mostly me, the Sir of the household, but the Madame of the household is more involved than she used to be. I'm the planner, the heavy lifter, and the maniac. She's the voice of reason and the motivation to make things better. She's also kept me going after some of the worst disasters where, left to my own devices, I might have given it up.

She's usually the one who notices small things wrong with the tanks, and she takes care of feeding the 20g. I do the water changes, the coral placement, most of the algae scraping and the dosing for the big tank.
