Took the mount out of the water :/ can't believe it's been corroding in there for a month and nothing's dead. Running carbon and did a water change. Also got a cool blasto frag for a deal since half the heads are receded, hopefully they rebound

Poor chromi getting his butt kicked by the davinchi clown and hiding in corner... hiding in corner.. do you think this will subside? Or will it be to the death?

Tank looks great its something to strive for; i will be setting up a 30g myself in the next month or two. How does the prime light work for you? i noticed you had one to start do you think that the second one was a necessity or did it really help with growth and such?

The primes are great, getting a lot of growth from my zoas. I could've stuck with one... but once you start buying all this coral and you start running out of room.. and you want it to quickly grow back its investment.. then I guess coverage becomes an issue. Lol

Appreciate it man. Only three months old and still stabilizing everyday, the green anemone couldn't handle two primes and detached from stress I imagine and got shredded by my vortech! Now that **** scared me, but nothing died, well the green bta did!

Let me know how it goes and let me know if you have any other questions ! :) best of luck

Thanks for the reply. I am definitely excited to get going with another tank. Had a 55g a few years ago and didnt want to let it go, but i moved and didnt have the room for it. I still need a stand for the 30 so it will still be a bit, but if i come up with anything ill post in here.

What is that encrusting coral in that middle pic? The green/purple/pink one next to your cleaner shrimp? That looks beautiful and must be doing well with your setup. Chalice? Monti?
