Went by a LFS, called Coral Fever, in Raceland, La. yesterday and took a few pics while I was there (of course). The corals are all topdowns using melev's top-down box.
Canon T2i w/ Canon 100mm.

Those are some great shots. Did you crop those top down shots? I don't understand how you could use a macro lens from so far away from the corals. Unless it is a shallow tank.

Thanks! None of the top-downs are cropped, as far as I can recall. These pics were taken of many different sized tanks. The closest macro shots were taken from nano tanks, so the working distance from the lens was short.

Lalani, amazing shots. Can you tell me more about your post processing. Are you using Lightroom or some other software? Am asking because i have problems converting RAW taken under the royal blue leds to jpeg. I know some people are using other RAW converters. What lens do you use? 100 mm or 180 mm ? Looking forward for more pics.

Thank you! I use Photoshop CS6 for my post processing, and I don't actually do much pp work at all. But that is because my tank is T5-lit and when I take pics of other people's LED-lit tanks, I usually ask them to adjust them to a whiter light. The majority of digital cameras have a very hard time taking pics of blue LED-lit tanks. Most of the time, the blue just goes out of whack and you lose all/most detail in those areas so even extreme post processing can't recover/fix those problems, unfortunately.
I use several different lenses, but the majority of the tank shots are taken with the Canon 100mm f2.8 (non-IS).
