I'm currently using lanthanum chloride (quantum) into a relatively new reefer 250 but my po4 levels are rising.

I'm dosing 10ml per 24 hours with a dosing pump into a 9 micron roller filter. The instructions that came with the product suggest this is the max dose.

A week ago I brought the levels down to 0.03 through waterchanges. I feed 1 frozen cube a day.

So in a week it's gone from 0.03 to 0.15 despite dosing 10ml.

What am I doing wrong?

So systems are always trying to reach equilibrium, and what I mean by that is very likely you have Phosphate bound in your rock work and it is leaching out into the water column.

If you remove the Phospate from the water, it leaves an imbalance so any phosphate in the rocks will leach out so that the level stabilizes again.

I would keep dosing, maybe at a reduced rate until you reach the desired level and it stays there.
