How deep of a sand bed do you need for these?

Doesn’t have to be real deep. I have had them in as much as dang near bare bottom up to a good 6+ inch bed I’ve even had a couple prefer to be kn the rocks instead of the sand lol

Where did this one hang out?

Started in the sand bed then went to the rocks then back to the sand bed. Stayed in the same area so it wasn’t wandering all around or anything but it’s shifted a few times between the rocks and the sand lol
