Give yours a chance. Can you build a cheap pvc base to keep it in position? I was going to do this with a fluval sp2
I'm going to be so bummed if my rosemonts do what yours did.
A sicce voyager would do the job and is bullet proof just huge which doesn't matter in your use.
Yeah, that is probably the best one in that flow range.https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/tunze-turbelle-stream-6125.html I think think is Tunze largest pump with a magnet that is not controllable just a good ol AC pump.
I have this as my basic utility pump and backup. Output is up so no issue spinning and it's a beast!

He's looking for a power head but I'm glad you posted it. I forgot about those and it fits a need of mine perfectly
I am specifically looking for a magnet mount powerhead.Yea but since he said tried a return pump but it spun thought perhaps my experience with the model if placing it on the bottom has never spun. Although it sure would if not on the bottom!

Hopefully, this was just a freak thing and everybody else's are fine.
While it worked, it really seemed to move alot of water.
Plus they are very small and compact.
A friend gave me a mag 18 a couple weeks ago and I glued a ceramic magnet on the back to hold it to the side of the barrel.I use a Mag 18 in a 55g drum.
Yeah, me too. I got a bucket with a few dead jeboas in it. None were a year old. One was about 3 months old and only used once.I've been looking at the sicce myself. I starting to get jaded with powerheads tbh.
