Last time buying INSTANT OCEAN

Another way of looking at it is thatafter 30 years you only had this 1 problem with their salt….not saying they shouldn’t do the right thing by you though. I mean other salt brands have had bad batches that people swear crashed their tanks…. Could be worse.

If you run a 1/4 cup of rox carbon in a nylon bag it will pickup the organics and you wont have the issue.
I used this method and my 55g drums nevr had buildup. I made and stored it for weeks with no residue. Just a nylon bag dropped in with no circulation.
Just hang it in the mixing container? I've never heard this but I'm willing to try it. I think I have some rox and some other type that I don't run in the tanks so it's just sitting.

That’s a shame. I wonder how often that happens. Not doubting you but how do you weigh your buckets? Using an old empty? 6” is crazy. Idk I ever notice, it’s usually quite close to the top. Also curious where you purchased from?
i used a scale and sent them a picture of the weight

I just dropped it in.
I dont store salt water anymore.
I mix it, bring it to temp, adjust sg, and change.
