Hello,

I recently acquired a lawnmower blenny which is currently in QT. I can not get it to eat anything. I have tried nori, nori soaked in garlic, and hikari herbivore pellets. Any tips or other options to get this little bugger to eat? Thanks

How big is the QT, are there any other fish in the QT with the blenny, does the blenny have a place to hide? I would try to rip algae out of your aquarium to feed it. I have GHA that grows on my overflow teeth where my tangs cant get it.

For about 2 weeks. He is in a 10 gallon by himself with plenty of hiding spots. I have tried both mysis and brine as well. I will have to try some algae out of my DT. Thanks for the tips.

Have you tried the nori on a rock, instead of on a clip? That can help.

They can take a while to adjust to prepared foods, if they ever do. Mine just caught on to prepared foods, after being in the display about six months.

Just tried that. I seem to have a lot of trouble to get these guys to eat. Very picky.
