Hi All!

Wondering if I could get some opinions on what might be going on here. My toadstool that is many years old and usually very happy has form a hole and started splitting from an edge for the last week or so.
It might be self fragging but I’ve never seen that in person so hoping to get opinions!

Mine did that about 6 years ago. Now there are a pair! The “child” actually outgrew the original for some reason.
