leathers killing SPS

How many of you have had a leather kill your sps? I learned the hard way about 2 years ago. I put a leather directly up current of a nice acro and within 2 days the acro was dead :(

I have leathers in my sps tank with no problem...

I have a nuc. green nepthia, a small tyree(?) toadstool, and a tiny amount of xenia and to my knowledge have had no issues...I suppose it is possible that my growth could be better if I didn't have any...

wow what kind of leather and acro we talking about like a sinularia and stag type acro?
