Well I bit the bullet and sprung for the photons. They seem to be a better long term approach. One of the deciding factors for me was that I sent both sbreeflights and reefbreeders emails with similar questions. Logan at reefbreeders answered promptly while sb has yet to respond to 2 emails.
Hopefully I've made a good lighting decision. Based on customer service I believe I have.
