I currently am looking to upgrade my LED lights (not trying to spend a fortune) and want to see what suggestions you all have.

My Tank:
- 48" Long, 24" wide, 16" deep (water is only 14" deep)
- No canopy - plan on hanging lights
- Mixed reef (just started some SPS, but would like a clam)

Wants in a light:
- Full Spectrum
- Not too heavy/bulky
- prefer two units covering 24x24" so can adjust intensity on either side
- Dimmable
- Preferabbly controllable
- Don't want to break the bank

Considering
- DIY - LEdGroupBuy Lumina 5.2 or RapidLED Aurora Puck (afraid I will not know what I am doing and concerned about cluster LED single point of failure)
-Ocean Revive Artic T247
- Aqua Allumination Hydra26 (or waiting to see more about new Prime)
- Ecotech XR15W Pro

What other options/ LED lights do you all recommend?

Pretty much any of the 120W LED fixtures out there will work. Just research a brand and go with it basically. I know most of my local guys use the evergrow D2040/D120 and IT series lights and they work flawlessly.

Thanks for speedy responses - I just came across the DM-165p - Reef Radiance - this looks like a sweet deal - Like how the controller is included and can set it from my phone. Now just need to figure out what height to put it and acclimation plan to not kill my corals (i did this in past when I had T5 bulbs - changed all bulbs at once and killed almost everything). Will reach out to ReefRadiance when they get in later today.

Thanks guys

Your going to love the controllability of these lights!! They are powerful so start on the low end when acclimating :)
I'm running the Pro 180 11 1/2" from water surface. 20/50% max ATM. My LPS & Sps are loving it!
Good luck and enjoy. Love Reef Radiance!!

20/40 meanng 20% on white 40% on blue or other way around. What do you think of how high off tank I should hang them?

I just ordered the DM-165M from Reef Radiance. I've seen more tanks in my area with these lights and corals were loving them.

@NanaReefer that XLS is sooo cool. I will definately use this to program the lights. I just ordered two DM-165P. You normally run at 20/50% on the 10min/8Hr? What would you suggest for acclimating. I currently have Orbit Marine LED. Lights - so type of light is the same, but intensity is way lower. Should I do 10%/40% and increase 2% each week unil I hit the 20/50 target?

Thanks for sharing
