Leds and mounting options

Ok ladies and gents. Finally bought the 40b and now have to start piecing it together. I know i want led, but I'm not too sure about hanging them. To make this harder I'm on a budget with all the equipment. So, the question is what a budget led that will support anything I put in there and preferably mount on frame?

Look at reef radiance dm165 series or ocean revive t247. With some diy ingenuity you can frame mount them

The reef radiance has been the one keeping my attention, but if mounted on the frame of the tank I will need 2 of them, correct? How high above the tank would the light have to be in order to eliminate dark areas on the sides of the tank?

Mount them around 10-12" above tank
