I want to put LEDs over my cube but I am not sure what to use. It is a SPS only tank and most of the corals are 6-12" off the bottom of the tank. That leaves 13"-19" of water that needs to be penetrated. I have a canopy that is 13" high so that gives me some room for height adjustment. I currently have a 250 watt halide and it is not quite enough light in my opinion. I had a 400 watt halide and that was overkill.

What mix of LEDs gives a 15K look? What size heat sink with the 25x25 dimension? What optics, if any at all? What LEDs do you recommend?

I have a 24x24x24 cube with 8 Ecoxotic Modular strips above it. My SPS is all growing and responding very well. This is what it looks like.

WOW! You get that with the Stunner Strips? I thought the Stunner's only used 1/4 watt LEDs.

No, that is with 8 of the modular strips. I bought the 23.5" Panorama fixture and added two extra modular actinic strips to it along with a stunner. The stunner strip I use for the dusk/dawn effect.
