Me too! I always wanted the open top look but that won’t happen again. The lights had very little light spill but then you have the water reflecting light all over the ceiling. This contains almost all of it. Very happy.

I am shutting my frag tanks down since all acros are in my main tank. I installed an extra dos this morning. Now what to do with it? Possibly dose acropower

Setup my doser to dose 20 ml acropower every day at 1 pm. I was manually dosing 40 ml every other day previously.

With my extra DoS I am now dosing acropower and all for reef. I will continue 2 part dosing to maintain my calcium and alkalinity but this will reduce how much I have to dose and add magnesium and trace elements.

Not really good at diy, but also I prefer the traditional canopy look.

Now just to silicone down when my buddy comes out Thursday. Very happy with the 1/2 inch glass quality. I will be purchasing 2 more to put in the center. Since I added the canopy I figured why not add additional bracing.

Got the 1st two of the eurobracing done. Next 2 pieces come in a week that will be placed on each side of the overflow.

I added an ai prime and kessil I already had. I ordered another ai prime and will add it next week, I will them swap the light on far right to 120 reflectors like the other 3.
Also will add 2 additional braces in the middle.
About to put my last order in on fish.

Added the other AI prime and changed the Rigjt Zuni to 120 degrees lenses. Loving the overall look of the lighting, shimmer and par across the tank.

Thank you! I actually plan to add 2 orphek bars to the front, my goal with lighting is always multi source from different angles, helps even par out. I will tweak my reefi down and retest with the par meter.

Added center braces, now just let it sit for 24 hours. Probably not most people’s dream tank, rimless to braced, but I love the canopy look. Originally went rimless because the wife didn’t want the canopy look. She loves it now the kitchen isn’t lit up with blue light.
