I just found this critter stuck to the return pump strainer. Seems dead. Anybody can help me ID it? Coincidentally, I discovered that my Tang has a "hickey" mark on his side.

I’ve not seen a fish parasite that large, or with that dark/light coloration.

Looks like it could be a nudibranch, but I’m not sure how it could have gotten into your tank.

Gonna be honest, that looks like a land slug to me. I've seen many a drowned slug and they usually look something like that. Now the question is, how did it get in your sump?
If it's not a land slug, it's still probably a slug of some sort.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it looks to me like a land slug. No idea how it could have gotten there. Very weird.
