I have had a Lemon Peel Angel Fish in quarantine for 2 weeks. Water parameters are perfect. He is active and eating extremely well. however, he has these faint small brown spots that will not go away. Can anyone help identify what this could be and how to treat? Thank you in advance!

This appears to be black ich often associated with tyurrebellian worms and best treatment is Prazi Pro T 85% of recommended dose applied initially lasting 8 days and then a water change and one more application for 8 days

The spots look pretty diffuse to be turbellarians. Prazi doesn’t work well for those in any event.

What can happen is that fish produce granulation tissue in response to injury or infection, and this is often brown and diffuse line this.

Since the fish is in a quarantine system, it makes sense to have it go through a full quarantine process;
