Hey guys! I have a very interesting question that I have never seen proposed. When a wrasse goes in the sand bed to sleep, do they go in the same burrow? Or do they make a new one in a different spot?

They usually sleep in the same general area... But not same burrow bc when they get up... The sand falls back into place.

Okay thank you. And the reason I ask this question is bc I want to shoot a HD video of the wrasse coming out of the burrow. I find it so interesting.

Yeah as long as u know the general area it sleeps in u can film it. I remember seeing someone else here film it waking up. My Choatis and ear muff wrasse would basically nose dive into the sand and wiggle under the sand. They basically sleep just under the top of the sand bed.
