Let Me ID Your Wrasse!

It could be, but for a definite ID a pic showing the whole profile would be helpful. It is an immature specimen based on the ocelli on the dorsal.

It just got into the store yesterday, the owner is holding it for me for a couple weeks till after my termite fumigation which will also give him some time to QT and get it eating as well...unfortunately that means no clearer photo at this time.

Yup.
Grows to over a foot in length... Loves motile inverts.

Bodianus mesothorax, Coral Hogfish. It is in the wrasse family. NOT reef-safe.

Though not invert safe they are coral safe, they dont flip them over like some of the other large aquarium wrasses.

Need help with an I.D. on this wrasse, was purchased as a "fairy" but have no clue as to what kind. Is it a male or female and will it change colors?

Its C. rubripinnis, the colors will get a little more distinct, but this one is already a male so not too much more of a change.

Was purchased as whipfin but looks nothing like the ones I've seen before

I just saw the thread.....so it looks like cirrhilabrus tonozukai to me :)
