I am getting better I think at getting an ID but I always want other opinions. I'm not as good at wrasse ID as I am at plant ID.

Cirrhilabrus ryukyuensisI've had this guy for quite a while but could never ID him on my own. The reason I want to find out now is that he's become a bit aggressive, especially towards other wrasse. He even nipped at my fingernail today for the first time, he's got some attitude. He's also survived and been through some **** so maybe that toughened him up a bit lol. Hopefully these pics are good enough to get an ID.

A particularly striking male Paracheilinus rubricaudalis.
Thank you much, my buddy had this picture stored but no clue to what it was and he wants one bad lol. TytyA particularly striking male Paracheilinus rubricaudalis.
They come from Vanuatu and there was a really bad tropical storm/hurricane earlier this year (March I think) that pretty much destroyed everything. So that had a pretty bad affect on the ornamental fish trade.Good luck to him, I've been looking for one for a year and a half. A couple of years ago it seemed like LA had them often.
It's a male mckoskers. This guy came into the LFS as a Carpenter's, but I know that it isn't. I was thinking a McKosker, but the red on the dorsal is throwing me off. Maybe it's still in transition or maybe it's something else altogether.

Cirrhilabrus cf. lanceolatus, pintail wrasse. $120 is a really good price for a male.I got this at a LFS that while picking up some snails. It was labeled as a pintail wrasse for $120, I'm thinking I got a deal. I'm thinking it's Cirrhilabrus lanceolatus.
