Ornate Leopard Wrasse, M. ornatus, I think.
A young one, not full male.

Thank you very much, I was thinking the same, but under blue light the green shows up as blue and someone had told me it could be a juvi blue star, which i didn't think was correct.

Thanks for the confirmation, I was thinking the same.. M. ornatus in the juvinile stage and not a full male yet.

Good Morning again,

This labeled as an Ornate Wrasse, is this correct?

That is not correct. Too pointed face to be an Ornatus. Maybe a Melanurus wrasse. I raised my Melanurus wrase from a baby, he looks like that at a younger stage. Color was different but this may be due to lighting.

This guy please

That is a Rubyhead Fairy Wrasse. I don't think it have been actually described and have scientific name yet. Cirrhilabrus cf cyanopleura, meaning it is similar to Cyanopleura , which is the Blue head Fairy wrasse. There are a bunch of Fairy wrasse that look the same as Cyanopeura other than shades of colors. They are all called C. cf cyanopleura

Got this guy as a "fancy fairy wrasse" for $25, any ideas? Maybe cyanogularis female?

Which species of the Cyanopleura group is this fish of mine? It is really difficult to get a good picture of him, so this is the absolute best I can get. TIA
