So, originally i was a zoa guy and anemone guy. Picture this, top tank full of zoas and anemones, with an overflow and the pvc piping outputs to bottom tank which is really just a place for live rock filtration. Right where the water comes out of the pvc it created a downward turbulent flow, and there was some rock there. At that spot, i notice a glimmer in the night time, with just the blues on; and after noticing it, every night i would check it. over the weeks, it grew from nothing to my first sps, it was a green montipora with yellow polyps! and it was just magical to see that spring from what i thought was just a piece of rubble rock. and the glow under blue lights was amazing! Ever since that, i've been hooked on sps! =)
