It's not about the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog He might look nice and sweet, but we tried to introduce him to a much bigger dog for a buddy a few years back and he was having NONE of that, This little stinker even used to boss our Chow Chow around (if someone was around for help anyways ;-)
Okay, here are my doggies. My Rottie was about 100lbs at heaviest, but I got her down to 90 for health reasons. She was fully trained and did obedience shows with me. She was an "try to be alpha" and gave me a run for my money up until her untimely death (cancer and then a brain tumor). She was wonderful. Jade. I will always remember our times.
She was with me when my engagement was stopped and while I was single and then with my hubby. She went through a lot with me.
My Mastiff boys: Napoleon was the best dog in the world. I will miss him forever.
Klondike
Napoleon right before his passing. (bone cancer)
Wellington as a pup and our girl Pancake (adopted at 15months). Welly we had to return to breeder for issues around kids. Bummer as he was a fun dog, but with 12 neighbor kids running in and out of yard and house, did not work out. Pan is much older now. Turns 9 this January. She is our "rug that eats".
Now our newest baby, Moose. His mommy was Bloodhound, but dad is unknown. He is a challenge as he is my first hound. Funny, smart, and loves mischief. Keeps us on our toes.
My dear Athena. She was the best dog and I miss her terribly.
She was pregnant when we adopted her, and we were lucky enough to have my aunt take my favorite puppy. So her memory lives on this is Harley, now 8 years old.
This is my dog Mako. He isn't huge but a solid 60lbs. He is fully E collar trained. My GF and I adopted him in college in Charleston SC and moved with him cross country to CA. When we first got him he thought he was alpha and was deemed farel by the adoption agency. With a lot of training I am alpha, my GF not so much haha. He is a great dog today.
My Bloodhound on her new sofa. I also have a Yellow Lab and a Redbone Coonhound. All pretty good sized dogs around 80-90 pounds. Bloodhounds are very sweet and kind of shy. She is my little baby!
My avatar photo is my sons/homes bodyguard.
Is excellent at bite work and tracking as well.
Love to talk to any fellow shepherd or malinois owners if any on site if they ever need help/advice!
