Letting your chalice corals grow on the sand..

Chalice frags are ok but chalice colonies are something special to behold!

How many of you allow your chalice corals to grow on the sand? If not the sand where? Photos would be appreciated!

5 year old brittle sea star. I don’t know why mine is so large he stretches 2’+ when reaching for food.

Sandbed here! It’s the best place for it lighting wise in my tank. I’ve had them grow on rockwork as well in the past.
