Leveling stand

I just put together my reefer 425 G2 stand and noticed the floor is unlevel like crazy. The floor has a hump under the right front foot and drops in all directions from there. The RF foot is screwed all the way in and the LR I had to stack composite shims to make up the difference and more all along the way. Over half of the feet have shims and they are stacked to keep the shims level instead of being wedge shaped. Is this safe to do? I don't have much of an option

I have the floor supported with jacks in the crawlspace and made sure they aren't causing the hump.

Maybe try removing the foot at the high spot and using shims only there and use the feet everywhere else? It almost sounds like there may be something between the laminated flooring and the subfloor causing the high spot.

Yes...but there are a few things to watch out for. You may want solid shims instead of combining two wedge shaped shims (if I understand what you did correctly). The concern is when the tank is filled the shims may shift since they're stacked. If you get solid shims then you maybe able to raise the levelling feet up a bit - for a bit more stability.

The critical part is that the stand is supported equally and the floor can support the weight. Those jacks are fine and should be good. You're talking 1500# with that tank and those jacks are usually in the 20,000# range.

I would take level readings as I'm filling the tank just to double check and make sure nothing slips or becomes unstable.
