Leveling stand

I have heard of people using plywood to level there stand than using several shims to level it. Looking for pics.
Don't have any pics, but I've done this, currently doing it on my DT. I put a 3/4" sheet of plywood cut to size that rests on my carpet. Stand is on top of it. I then used Plastic Shims from Home Depot underneath the plywood as needed until the tank was leveled. I did this when the tank was full during a leak test.
