Leveling tank

How important is it to level an aquarium? Its a 50 gallon tank its semi level but its sunk into the carpet some and a little off.

I know the main issue is increased pressure on one side vs the other so weight is not distributed evenly and can wear on the joints of the tank. I will be following this as my tank as become a smidge un-level (when a level is placed on the tank, it is only off by a hair. But when the pumps are off there is a very evident slope), but she is a 90g tank so she doesn't move easily.
